On the morning of 7 July, Shahid and Meera formed an alliance. At around five in the morning the wedding ceremony took place at a private bungalow in Gurgaon where only fifty people were present at the wedding.
There was no loud music in Shahid's procession, just playing the dhol, to which Shahid also danced. In disguise of the groom, Shahid was the first to design an Outfit of Golden Sherwani and Turban and beautiful outfil of Mira by "Anamika Khanna".
